Removes language allowing the Department of Public Health to reduce reimbursement rates for sexual assault survivor services in accordance with Illinois Public Aid Code provisions.

Establishes fixed reimbursement of $3,000 for acute exams provided to both adult and pediatric sexual assault survivors who are uninsured or receive medical assistance, with rates subject to increase by the Department.

Allows sexual assault survivors with nonprimary insurance policies to opt out of billing their private insurance when safety or confidentiality concerns exist.

Maintains existing requirements that hospitals, health care providers, ambulance providers, laboratories, and pharmacies provide services to sexual assault survivors without charge and seek reimbursement through appropriate channels (insurance, Medicaid, or the Sexual Assault Emergency Treatment Program).

Effective January 1, 2022 for reimbursement provisions; Act takes effect upon becoming law.
