IL SB3021

Amends the State Employee Health Savings Account Law to allow funds held in health savings accounts to be used to pay for diapers or diaper services for the eligible individual or their dependents.

Modifies the definition of "qualified medical expense" in Section 10-5 to include additional uses of funds as provided under Section 10-15.

Adds a new subsection (c) to Section 10-15 that explicitly permits health savings account funds to cover diaper and diaper service expenses.

Makes conforming changes to existing health savings account provisions under 5 ILCS 377/10-5 and 5 ILCS 377/10-15.
