IL SB3466

Amends the Illinois Insurance Code Section 151 to create an exception to rebate prohibitions for insurers and insurance producers offering products or services at least tangentially related to insurance contracts.

Allows insurers, their employees, affiliates, insurance producers, or third-party representatives to provide such products or services for free or below fair market value without violating rebate restrictions.

Requires that receipt of the products or services cannot be contingent upon purchasing insurance and must be offered on identical terms to all potential customers based on documented objective criteria.

Prohibits the products or services exception from being applied in a manner that is unfairly discriminatory.
