Declares void and unenforceable any lease provisions requiring park districts to indemnify or hold harmless public utilities for damages caused by the utility's own negligence

Applies to land lease agreements between public utilities and park districts, forest preserve districts, conservation districts, and other local public entities with recreation facilities

Prohibits waivers of subrogation and similar clauses that would shift liability for bodily injury or property damage caused by a lessor's negligence to the park district lessee

Preserves the ability of public utilities to agree to indemnify park districts for damages resulting from the utility's sole negligence

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
