School districts must provide informational material about the Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) account program to parents or guardians beginning with the 2023-2024 school year.

Information about the ABLE program must be provided at each student's annual individualized education program (IEP) review meeting, whether held in person, remotely, or by other means.

The Office of the State Treasurer prepares the informational material and delivers it to the State Board of Education, which then distributes it to school districts.

Schools may transmit the ABLE account information to parents or guardians using the same methods used for other IEP-related documents and communications.

The Act takes effect upon becoming law.
