IL SB3483

Amends the Counties Code to modify distribution of school facility occupation tax revenues collected by the Department of Revenue.

Allocates 1% of collected taxes to regional superintendents of schools to cover administrative and enforcement costs, instead of depositing these funds into the Tax Compliance and Administration Fund.

Maintains the existing 1% allocation to the Tax Compliance and Administration Fund for Department of Revenue administrative costs.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
