Amends the Illinois Act on the Aging to require dementia training for all employees of the Department on Aging or contracted agencies providing direct services through the Community Care Program.

Mandates at least 2 hours of initial dementia training covering Alzheimer's disease and dementia, safety risks, and communication and behavior.

Requires existing employees to complete the training within 6 months of the effective date, with new hires completing it at the start of employment.

Mandates at least 2 hours of annual continuing education in dementia training for all covered workers.

Allows exemption from requirements if more rigorous dementia training standards already exist under current laws or rules, provided they include a minimum of 2 hours of dementia training.
