Entities awarded cannabis transporting licenses may defer payment of the associated license fee for up to 2 years.

Department shall issue transporting licenses no later than July 1, 2020, with applications available January 7, 2020 and due by March 15, 2020.

Starting January 1, 2023 through January 1, 2025, the Department cannot issue any new transporting licenses beyond those issued before this amendatory act's effective date.

Annual application periods continue every January 7 thereafter (or the next business day if that date falls on a weekend or holiday), with applications due by March 15.
