IL SB3845

Amends the Vocational Education Act to modify the Gender Equity Advisory Committee structure and duties under Section 2.1.

Committee must submit recommendations to the Governor, General Assembly, and State Board of Education by December 15, 2023 on supporting historically disadvantaged males, including African American students and students of color, to ensure educational equity.

Subsection (e) requiring the recommendations becomes inoperative on December 31, 2023.
