IL SB3950

Amends the Illinois Human Rights Act definition of "disability" to include a person's association or relationship with someone who has a disability characteristic.

Removes language stating that discrimination based on disability includes unlawful discrimination against an individual because of their association with a person with a disability.

Expands the disability definition to explicitly include mental, psychological, and developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
