Professional development requirement applies to teachers, administrators, school board members, school resource officers, and staff

Non-exclusionary discipline training joins existing required topics including adverse consequences of school exclusion, effective classroom management, culturally responsive discipline, and developmentally appropriate disciplinary methods

Effective date is July 1, 2023

State Mandates Act may require reimbursement to school districts for implementation costs
