Beginning in State Fiscal Year 2023, increases the income threshold for child care assistance eligibility to no less than 250% of the federal poverty level for each family size, up from the previous 200% threshold.

Provides that eligible families shall receive another 12-month eligibility period at the time of redetermination, maintaining continuous coverage during that period.

Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code Section 9A-11 concerning the child care assistance program.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
