Increases homemaker service rates to $26.52 per hour beginning July 1, 2022 to ensure direct service workers earn a minimum wage of $16 per hour.

Requires rates in subsequent State fiscal years to remain at or above July 1, 2022 levels.

Mandates in-home service providers certify compliance with the wage increase requirement to the Department on Aging.

Prohibits reduction of fringe benefits including paid time off, training payments, health insurance, travel, and transportation costs in relation to the rate increases.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
