• Removes the requirement that the EPA coordinate multiple drug take-back program proposals to ensure adequate authorized collection site coverage across the state.

• Changes promotion and education requirements so that when multiple drug take-back programs operate, each program implements requirements individually, except all approved programs must coordinate to provide a single shared toll-free number and website for collection site information.

• Takes effect immediately upon enactment or on the effective date of House Bill 1780, whichever occurs later.
