Repeals the provision requiring a $5,000,000 transfer from the Statewide 9-1-1 Fund to the Statewide 9-8-8 Trust Fund that was scheduled for July 1, 2022.

Replaces the 9-1-1 Fund transfer with a $5,000,000 transfer from the General Revenue Fund to the Statewide 9-8-8 Trust Fund.

The Statewide 9-8-8 Trust Fund supports establishing and maintaining a statewide suicide prevention and mental health crisis system pursuant to the National Suicide Hotline Designation Act of 2020.

Funds in the 9-8-8 Trust Fund do not revert at the end of fiscal years and cannot be transferred or reassigned for purposes outside those specified in the statute.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
