Requires individual and group accident and health insurance policies in Illinois to provide coverage for specified contraceptive methods and abortion care

Amends the Counties Code to mandate self-insured counties, including home rule counties, include contraceptive and abortion coverage in employee health plans

Amends the Illinois Municipal Code to require self-insured municipalities, including home rule municipalities, provide the same reproductive health coverage for employees

Amends the School Code to require employee insurance protection and benefits include contraceptive and abortion care coverage

Amends the Limited Health Service Organization Act to make these organizations subject to the new reproductive health coverage requirements

Effective date: January 1, 2024
