Designates the entire portion of U.S. Highway 20 in Illinois from the Iowa border to the Indiana border as the "Illinois Medal of Honor Highway" to honor Medal of Honor recipients from the state.

Requests the Illinois Department of Transportation erect plaques or signs at suitable locations along the highway bearing the name "Illinois Medal of Honor Highway," including the three versions of Medal of Honor logos if appropriate and possible.

Illinois has 108 Medal of Honor recipients born in the state, 209 who entered service from Illinois, and 110 laid to rest in Illinois, spanning 11 wars from the Civil War to the Vietnam War over 114 years.

The 234-mile Illinois designation would support creation of a 3,365-mile National Medal of Honor Highway across U.S. Highway 20, following Oregon's creation of the first state Medal of Honor Highway in 2016.

Illinois veterans have offered to pay the cost for creating and installing the highway signs.
