The Illinois Senate mourns the death of Edna I. Niebur of Edwardsville, who passed away on March 1, 2022.

Edna Niebur was born December 7, 1934, in Breese, and married Melvin L. Niebur on June 18, 1953; her husband preceded her in death on February 27, 1987.

She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella, the Who's New Card Club, and the Anderson Hospital Auxiliary.

Edna is survived by four children (Randy, Mark, Jan, and Gail), multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-grandchildren, as well as close family friends.

The Senate directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Edna Niebur's family as an expression of sympathy.
