Senate resolution mourning the death of Charles Winston "Wynne" Carter of Hanna City, who passed away on April 20, 2022

Born February 6, 1942 in Dunlap; served as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division (Screaming Eagles) after declining college football scholarships

Worked as a carpenter beginning in 1965, served as president of Carpenters Local #183 (now #237) from 1976 to 1984, and co-founded River City Construction Company in 1984 where he was owner and vice president until retiring in 2005

Survived by wife Marilyn, four daughters, five brothers, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the Carter family as an expression of sympathy from the Illinois Senate
