Judy Barclay of Park Ridge died on April 19, 2022; she was born in Chicago on August 4, 1942, and moved to Park Ridge in 1967.

Worked in real estate at Gillick Real Estate and previously in advertising for Journal & Topics Media Group.

Served as co-president of the Kalo Foundation (established 2006) and helped purchase the Alfonso Iannelli Studios in 2011, which now operates as a private nonprofit museum and gallery.

Co-founded Citizens United to Retain Residential Balance (CURRB) and served on planning committees that rewrote sign ordinances and developed the Historic Preservation Commission.

Recognized as a 2016 Community Star by the Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce; survived by her husband Jack, two children, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
