Senate Resolution mourning the death of David S. "Dave" Joseph of East Peoria, who passed away on April 23, 2022.

Dave Joseph was born June 21, 1943, graduated from Bradley University, and built a successful real estate career that created The D. Joseph Companies, which developed shopping centers, office complexes, medical facilities, and restaurants throughout Central Illinois and the United States.

He was a founding member of St. Sharbel Catholic Maronite Church in Peoria and received the Pontifical Honor of Knight St. Gregory the Great from Pope John Paul II on April 23, 1994, for his kindness, generosity, and community service.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 53 years (Sharyn), six children, 22 grandchildren, and his brother Maurice.

Senate directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to the Joseph family as an expression of condolences.
