Commemorates the death of Lyle E. Lohse of Silvis, who passed away on April 11, 2022, at age 88.

Lohse served as mayor of Silvis from 1997 to 2009 and as an alderman for 12 years prior; was instrumental in bringing the TPC Deere Run golf tournament to Silvis.

Worked as a grocery foreman at Eagle's Warehouse for 37 years and served on the Silvis School Board and Park Board.

Survived by his sons Daniel and Richard, grandchildren Andrew and Katharine, great-grandchildren Vivien and Eliza, and brother Don.

Illinois Senate extends condolences to Lohse's family and directs presentation of a suitable copy of the resolution to his family.
