Thomas Rimbey "Tom" Lukeman passed away on February 24, 2022, at age 87.

Lukeman was born in Jacksonville on January 4, 1935, graduated from Bradley University, served in the U.S. Army, and worked in finance and as controller for the Illinois State Commerce Commission.

He was an Eagle Scout who enjoyed outdoor activities, was a member of Elks Lodge 682 and Jacksonville Country Club, and was known for his patriotism and sense of humor.

Lukeman is survived by his wife Joanne, one daughter, three stepchildren, six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and extended family members.

The Illinois Senate expresses condolences to the family and directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to them.
