Honors Burnell C. Russell of Volo, who died on May 19, 2022, at age 93.

Recognizes Russell's service as Village of Volo president from 1993 to 2015, during which he helped grow the village population from 180 to over 6,100 residents.

Notes Russell's leadership roles as past president of the Lake County Farm Bureau, Lake-Cook Farm Supply/Conserv FS, and Wauconda School District board member.

Acknowledges Russell's lifelong farming career at "R Farm" and his commitment to promoting agriculture in Lake County.

Extends condolences to his surviving family: children Linda, Dee, Pat, and Cindy; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
