Illinois Senate mourns the death of Kenneth R. "Wasy" Wasylenko of Gillespie, who passed away on February 17, 2022

Wasylenko was born July 27, 1963, served in the National Guard, married Christie Lynnette Wahl on May 20, 1994, and worked as a laborer and pipe cutter for Titan Pipe and Tube of Staunton as a member of LIUNA Local 42

He is survived by his spouse Christie, daughters Samantha and Taylor, three siblings, in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews

Senate extends sincere condolences to Wasylenko's family, friends, and all who knew him

A suitable copy of the resolution will be presented to the Wasylenko family as an expression of sympathy
