Frank Spurgetis of East Moline passed away on July 10, 2022, and the Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family and loved ones.

Born November 29, 1932, to George and Katherine Spurgetis; served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1956 during the Korean Conflict.

Worked in Supply Procurement and Operations at Rock Island Arsenal for 42 years before retiring in 1993; married twice with five children total (three daughters from first marriage, two sons from second marriage).

Survived by his wife of 39 years Roxanne, five adult children, 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and his brother Socrates Spurgetis.

Illinois Senate directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Spurgetis family as an expression of sympathy.
