Bill L. Pulford of East Moline passed away on July 11, 2022; he was born February 13, 1942, in Moline and graduated from Moline High School in 1960.

Served four years in the U.S. Navy, including service on the U.S.S. Boston during the Cuban Missile Crisis and the U.S.S. Maloy submarine out of New London.

Worked as a torque inspector building combines at John Deere Harvester Works before retiring after many years of service.

Enjoyed home remodeling and woodworking, built classic 1950s and 1960s Chevrolet cars, and helped organize the Quad City Classics Car Club.

Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his surviving family: wife Pauline, three children (Christopher, Wendy, and Matt), five grandchildren, and four siblings.
