Warren "Ray" Harris of Milan passed away on July 10, 2022, and the Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family and loved ones.

Ray Harris was born April 19, 1938, in Bicknell, Indiana, served in the U.S. Navy, and married Carol Pittser on April 15, 1978, in Davenport, Iowa.

He was employed by Eagle Foods in Milan, Eastern Iowa Tire, and Goodyear Tires, and was a member of Rock Island Moose Lodge 190, The Forty and Eight, and Milan American Legion Post 569.

Ray Harris is survived by his wife Carol, three sons, four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, two sisters, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A suitable copy of the resolution will be presented to the Harris family as an expression of the Senate's deepest sympathy.
