Eduardo M. "Eddie" Ramos of Silvis died on July 5, 2022, at the age of 74.

Ramos was born in Moline on June 9, 1948, graduated from Alleman High School in 1966, served as a mechanic in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict, and worked at Oscar Mayer in Davenport before retiring as a brick layer/mason.

Member of the Mexican American Veterans Association (MAVA) who enjoyed fishing, shooting toothpicks, watching Westerns, and playing pool.

Survived by his wife Charlotte, five children, 17 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and six siblings.

The Illinois Senate extends condolences to his family and directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Ramos family.
