Anthony Penca of Silvis passed away on July 18, 2022, and the Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family and loved ones.

Anthony Penca was born June 10, 1927, served in the U.S. Army from April 22, 1946 to May 8, 1950 as squad leader of Military Police 677 in Japan, and received the World War II Victory Medal and Army of Occupation Medal Japan.

He worked as a superintendent of maintenance at International Harvester and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Moline.

He is survived by his wife Bernadette, four children (Pamela, Tony, Paula, and Matt), five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

A suitable copy of this resolution will be presented to Anthony Penca's family as an expression of the Senate's deepest sympathy.
