Served as Cubmaster and Scoutmaster for 13 years in Peoria Heights and was father to three Eagle Scouts; member of the American Legion

Resolution extends condolences to his surviving family, including wife Mary Ann, four children, stepson, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild
