Charles Anderberg Jackson passed away on July 29, 2022, at age 97 after living his entire life in Moline, Illinois.

Served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during World War II, was honorably discharged, and awarded the Purple Heart.

Worked as a letter carrier at the Moline Post Office for 30 years before retiring in 1985.

Was a member of the American Legion and VFW, proud of his Swedish heritage, and survived by his daughter Carole Flosi, grandson Daniel Flosi, great-grandchildren, sister Alice Johnson, and niece Kathy Herritt.

Illinois Senate expresses condolences to Jackson's family and friends and directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to his family.
