Illinois Senate mourns the death of Ralph R. Crist of Colona, who passed away on August 8, 2022.

Ralph Crist was born January 21, 1924, served in the U.S. Army during World War II with the 44th Division 63rd Combat Engineers, and worked at International Harvester as a combine repairman for 30 years before retiring in 1976.

He married Kathryn L. Lundahl on June 23, 1946, was a member of the Foresters and American Legion Post 1233, and was known as a skilled handyman who built two homes.

Ralph Crist is survived by his children Bob and Sandi, grandchildren Allen and Keith, and his cat Miss Kitty.

The Senate expresses sincere condolences to his family and directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Crist family.
