Honors the life of Dr. Woodbridge C. "Woody" Brown of East Moline, who passed away on August 21, 2022 at age 92

Dr. Brown earned a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Iowa State University (1954), a master's in Research and Development Management from Florida State University, and a doctorate in Occupational Education from North Carolina State University

Worked at General Dynamics, NASA Space Center in Florida, Appalachian State University, and the North Carolina College System before retiring from the University of Central Missouri

Served in the U.S. Army and was chairman of the Kansas City Society of Manufacturing Engineers in 1984

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to his surviving wife, Daphne, and family as an expression of sympathy from the Illinois Senate
