Stephen G. Afferica of Moline died on August 29, 2022, at age 86; he was born November 27, 1935, in Weehawken, New Jersey.

Served in the U.S. Army for two years and worked in management at International Harvester in East Moline for over 26 years before retiring in 1990.

Operated a Christmas wood craft business for 11 years and enjoyed woodworking, investing, political science, gardening, and Duke University basketball.

Married Judith Stentz on September 8, 1962, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, son Todd with wife Cindy, and sister Joan.

Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family and directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the Afferica family.
