Paul H. Schold passed away on August 29, 2022, and the Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family and friends.

Schold was born April 3, 1948, in Moline and graduated from United Township High School in 1966.

Served as an aviation electrician in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1973 with Carrier Air Wing 17, and attended Black Hawk College, University of Montana, and University of Illinois.

Worked as ISO coordinator and warranty administrator at McLaughlin Body Company in Moline for 23 years before retiring in 2020.

Survived by his brother Sam, sister Cathi, close friends, and his cat Miss Kitty.
