Claude Sales was born May 1, 1934 in Centerville, Iowa; served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1956; and married Marie Gerard on April 26, 1958

Worked as a machinist for Case IH in East Moline for 35 years before retiring on January 1, 1992

Survived by his wife, three daughters (Claudia, Lisa, and Tammy), nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one sister, and four brothers

Senate directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Sales family as an expression of sympathy
