Honors Ollie Ray "Ozzie" Phelps of Rock Island, who died on September 2, 2022.

Phelps was born November 16, 1930, in Davenport, Iowa, served in the U.S. Army and Navy, and worked as a supervisor at Eagle Foods in Milan for 30 years.

Dedicated 20 years in retirement to caring for St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Milan and was a supporter of Alleman High School's Booster Club.

Survived by his wife of 55 years Ellen Phelps, five daughters, multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Illinois Senate extends condolences to his family and directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the Phelps family.
