Lawrence L. "Larry" Heaton of Moline passed away on October 6, 2022.

Heaton was born September 12, 1937, in Springfield, Ohio to Clarence A. and Ardis V. Heaton; he served in the U.S. Army and married Karen Yeoman on March 26, 1989.

Heaton retired from Sivyer Steel Foundry in Bettendorf, Iowa and enjoyed bass fishing and was a St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Heaton is survived by his wife Karen, three adult children (Tony Dean, James Kirk, and Leila Morris), five grandchildren, his sister Joyce Bradshaw, and his brother Robert Heaton.

The Illinois Senate expresses condolences to Heaton's family and friends and directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to the family.
