Senate Resolution mourning the death of Dr. Larry Owen Tadlock of the Quad Cities, who passed away on October 5, 2022.

Dr. Tadlock was born June 5, 1933, in Moravia, Iowa; served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1956; earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 1962.

Practiced veterinary medicine in the Quad Cities area for nearly 50 years, including as partner and sole proprietor of Rock Island Animal Hospital from 1971 to 2010, and helped create the Animal Emergency Center of the Quad Cities.

Active member of Rotary International for over 50 years, serving as club president and as a 15-year member and three-year chair of the Group Study Exchange Committee, with nearly 40 years of perfect attendance.

Survived by his wife JoAn, three daughters, five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and three siblings.
