Senate Resolution expressing support for Iranian protesters demonstrating against the regime following the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman who died on September 16, 2022, from injuries sustained during arrest by Iranian authorities for improper hijab wearing.

Condemns the Iranian government's violent crackdown on protests, including killings and arrests of demonstrators, and highlights the regime's history of executions, state-sponsored terrorism, hostage-taking, and nuclear weapons development.

Urges President Biden and the Illinois Congressional Delegation to cease negotiations with and financial releases to the Iranian regime while it murders its own citizens.

Calls on the U.S. to work with international partners to isolate the Iranian regime and position America as a global advocate for freedom and liberty against tyranny.

Directs distribution of the resolution to President Biden and all members of the Illinois Congressional Delegation.
