Honors Deborah Leigh "Deb" Kilby of Virginia, who passed away on October 9, 2022.

Kilby was born February 6, 1953 in Jacksonville, graduated from Virginia High School in 1971, and lettered in three sports at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.

Coached multiple women's athletic programs at Illinois College from 1979 to 1985, winning 138 contests and helping teams transition to the Midwest Conference; inducted into Illinois College Sports Hall of Fame in 2006.

Worked for UPS in Jacksonville and later as a security guard for the Springfield FBI Office; was a member of Virginia United Methodist Church.

Illinois Senate extends condolences to Kilby's surviving siblings Nancy J. Anderson, William R. Kilby, and Robert T. Kilby, as well as her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
