Married Harlan Knosher on December 24, 1956 and worked as a nurse before raising two daughters; her husband served as Director of Athletics at Knox College in Galesburg

Founded The Frameworks, a picture framing business in downtown Galesburg in the late 1980s with David Robinson; the business remains open to this day

Survived by her husband of over 65 years, two daughters, four grandchildren, four great-grandsons, and her brother Bill Meyer
