Honors the life of Jim Grosso, an Oak Park resident who passed away on July 1, 2022 at age 73

Recognizes Grosso as a survivor of the Our Lady of the Angels school fire in Chicago, where he attended grammar school before going to Fenwick High School

Acknowledges his contributions as a singer, musician, and multi-instrumentalist with the Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps and musical groups including Thursday's Child, Grosso Family Band, and Northern Skyline

Notes his long participation in the Oak Park Farmers Market jam circle since moving there with his wife in 1974

Extends condolences to his wife of 52 years, Mary Grosso, his three sons, three grandsons, and siblings, and directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the family
