Illinois Senate mourns the death of Ronald Cornell Wiley, who passed away on June 17, 2022, at age 18.

Wiley was born April 10, 2004, to parents Tavares McClendon and Carmalita Wiley; he graduated from Morton West High School as an honor roll student and basketball team member.

He was an entertainer who loved music and was baptized at Helping Hand M.B. Church, where he was active in multiple capacities.

Wiley is survived by his mother, father, stepfather, four brothers, multiple cousins, nieces, nephews, and girlfriend Nyjia Rigsby.

Senate extends sincere condolences to Wiley's family and friends and directs a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to his family.
