Illinois Senate mourns the death of Robert Wayne "Bob" Dahman, born October 11, 1929 in Jacksonville and graduated from Winchester High School in 1948.

Served as a corporal with the 45th Infantry Division and military police in the U.S. Army in Korea from 1952 to 1954, receiving the Korean Service Ribbon with two Bronze Stars, National Defense Service Medal, and Korean War Service Medal.

Worked in farming throughout his adult life and opened Dahman Equipment Inc. in 1963, selling International Harvester Farm Equipment until retirement.

Active member of Winchester First Christian Church, Winchester American Legion Post 442, Winchester VFW, Scott County Historical Society, and Jacksonville Area Genealogical and Historical Society.

Survived by his sons Michael and Bruce, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, his sister Rosalie, and three stepchildren; a copy of the resolution will be presented to his family.
