Department of Healthcare and Family Services shall conduct a study on managed care pharmacy access standards, focusing on disproportionately impacted areas and incorporating input from consumers.

Department must report study findings to the Governor and General Assembly by January 1, 2024, and publish the report on its website.

Any enrolled retail pharmacy provider not under investigation for fraud, waste, or abuse must provide services to medical assistance recipients residing in the same zip code, regardless of managed care organization contracts.

Managed care organizations must pay non-contracted retail pharmacies their standard contractual rate for services provided to recipients in their zip code.

Bill takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
