School districts (Article 34) must notify parents at least 10 calendar days before IEP meetings about services requiring specific data collection procedures, with a checkbox indicating whether data has been collected.

Local education agencies must provide parents copies of all written materials to be discussed at IEP meetings at least 3 school days in advance (or sooner with consent), including evaluations, IEP components, and information about their right to review student records.

School districts must maintain logs of related services (speech, occupational therapy, physical therapy, social work, counseling, psychology, and nursing services) and make them available to parents upon request, with notification of this right provided within 20 school days of the school year start.

If an IEP-required service is not implemented within 10 school days after the scheduled start date, the district must notify parents within 3 school days and inform them about compensatory services procedures.

School districts cannot use measures to prevent or delay adding services to an IEP, cannot restrict when services are added, and cannot program computer systems to automatically remove services without IEP team approval.
