Amends the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act to declare collective bargaining agreement provisions that limit a public employer's ability to investigate employee conduct as against public policy and unenforceable

Applies to any such provisions in collective bargaining agreements on or after the effective date of the amendatory Act

Exempts limitations on employer investigations that are otherwise required by State or federal law

Targets police disciplinary processes by removing union-negotiated protections that may restrict how public employers conduct investigations into officer misconduct
