Amends the Property Tax Code to extend the exemption from annual reapplication requirements to surviving spouses of veterans with 100% service-connected disability who were deemed permanently and totally disabled

Currently, veterans with 100% permanent disability ratings do not need to reapply annually for the homestead exemption; this bill extends that same benefit to their surviving spouses

The surviving spouse's exemption would remain in effect for as long as they would otherwise qualify under existing law (holding title to the homestead, permanently residing there, and not remarrying)

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
